Recognition typically includes press releases, as well as recognition at the dedication ceremony where the house is officially handed over to the Habitat Family.

Goods & Materials
Although volunteers are the heart, soul and muscle behind Habitat’s efforts, donations can often make the difference of whether or not a house becomes an affordable home for a Habitat Family.
Griffin Area Habitat for Humanity accepts single donations, or donations spread out month to month or year to year.
100% of ALL donations go directly into reducing the cost of building a house- the managing Board of Directors and its committees are completely volunteer- there are no handling costs deducted from your donation.
Mark Staples 770-468-4431 Executive Director and manager of construction
Toni Turner 770-468-1521 Immediate past president and volunteer co-coordinator
John Spitz 404-455-1616 President Board of Directors
Any new and unused materials including cabinets, doors, windows and building materials may be accepted.
Lightly used materials such as cabinets and appliances are often accepted but subject to inspection first.
Depending of the Habitat Family situation, new or used household furniture will be accepted as donations as well.
Typical workdays (week day or Saturday) extend beyond the lunch hour- so donated lunches are greatly appreciated. Coordinate these with the Board contacts listed below.
